Pc startup problem

I dont really know where to put this but when i start on my pc i get a black screen and nothing happens but i can hear that the pc is started. I can see the screen on my tv with a hdmi cable but not on my laptop itself. I was wondering if anyone around here knows how to fix this problem?

Edit: I dont really have knowledge about opening pc's and stuff, and i already looked up stuff on the internet but it didnt work

So.. you're using a external monitor [which is the tv right] maybe the monitor settings is only displayed on the tv one.

my pc has been fixed by acer, thanks still wondering how it happened tho
