Hi,

I know Mint Cinnamon don't use Gnome-Shell. I don't know how much but part of the code on Cinnamon is based on Gnome-Shell and this memory leak also experienced by many LinuxMint users, I am one of them. Since LinuxMint 18 still will be supported for more than 3 years I think it's bad if this bug is ignored. I hope there will be an easy fix, for both Mint users and developers or is there one already?

Please help.

I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
