I have been struggling in IT for quite some time. Have been working for 10 months in IT. I am now 8 months at the current company. Co-workers treating me like some psychologist instead of tech support. Really sick of it. I maintain servers, computers, laptops, cellphones, and I am also doing call center support, and I also print cards for my company and I also do data processing using Excel. I only struggle with the Excel and all the other things I am doing 100% and self-learned myself to fix the most mediocre computer problems a person can cause. Now they want to throw me to another call center because I am not doing all of my Excel correctly. Should I resign and find another job or keep on going until they fire me or send me to another call center?

First find another job and then resign.

I would apply to different companies, wait for their response and choose the job you want the most.

What do you mean exactly by "co-workers are treating me like a psychologist"?

If your co-workers are toxic, you could approach them/your higher ups and try to resolve it but it doesn't sound like you want to go that route. There's only so much you can see yourself doing though before you just say "fuck it" and find a more positive work space.

If they have you doing jobs/tasks you don't want to be doing or feel undervalued doing, then I'd quietly look for another job and when you find it and can transfer to it, submit your leave notice.

There is no right answer in life.
There is no need to do many things to live the world.
One is good enough.
