I see that the device is purchase from retail store Verizon.
Since your device was not purchased directly from Google, please contact Verizon for the best possible warranty experience.
They will have your exact purchase and warranty information and should be able to offer possible warranty options.

Tell them the retailer said its a manufacturing problem and they said to contact the manufacturer (Which is Google).

 

But even this doesn't work anymore due to phones being OOS

Google is pretty much patched at this point, they are telling everyone, that if you did not buy the phone from google than to go to the store where purchased (Verizon).

well seems its outdated for us , but for others not, so have fun guys. need to find specific imei like verizon for us, but for different countries.
