I can't decide if I want to buy Linux or Windows. With Linux I can easily hack stuff, but I don't know if I want to do that, and with windows there are a lot of settings and other stuff.

Windows. Most programs run on windows and if you have a windows maching you can set it to dual boot with a free Linux OS like ubuntu. Windows is better for most applications and you can get linux on it for free.

Just do a Dual-Boot with Windows AND Linux.

Or better, set up a VM within Windows with Linux on it.

 

Trust me, you won't regret using WIndows as your primary System.

If you are a gamer you should definitely choose Windows.

Otherwise Linux is a good choice.
