This has happened over the course of two years.
Anyway, I started my own forum and it wasn't going all to well the first two tries. First time it got hacked and second time the host got "hacked". But the third time, the third time the forum went hard. Growing insanely fast, being ranked #1 in Google for the keyword "Cracking forum" and being named by plenty as the most HQ cracking forum. In the end we had 30k members.
I had to go away for some time, ~2 years. I decided I should give my Admin host access. That admin is a member of this forum as well, Dynamic. I came back from being away, I noticed he moved domain names and he moved to a different host as well. He stole my forum from me and it's profits with it.
In April 2017, the profit were at 8 to 9 BTC, currently that is around $80K and then the value of the forum was around $50K. Now this doesn't add up entirely, because the forum went down in July 2017. Calculating that each month we earned between $1000 and $1500 (BTC was $1500 in that time) it should be somewhere around the $20K extra.
For those interested, the forum was called Crackingseal. My username was Perileos or Septof (or Septon, can't remember) on there.
