How can I create a .exe file in c++?

I'm going to assume you are new to programming.
First you will want to get an IDE of some sort. I'll be using Visual Studio 2017 to explain.

After installing Visual Studio 2017, what you will want to do is click "Win32 Console Application" under the New Project tab.

From there you can click ok.

After click finish.

Now you are ready to start coding!

right click -> rename -> add ".exe" to the file name -> profit
