Don't understand site's reputation system

Hello people, I am new to the forum, I want to be a contributing member and do good business

I don't understand the reputation system though, I've been studying the forum a bit and it seems like there are 3 forms of reputation,
likes, reputation and vouches, that you can have on your profile

This system isn't explained anywhere that I can see, also I don't see options to give people any of these 3 type points, is this just because my account is fresh?

Likes are received when your threads or posts receive a like from another user. 

Reputation is given from members and depending on their rank they can give you a plus (+) or a minus (-) 

Vouches are given to your marketplace threads where you offer a service and u can't give 2 vouches on 1 thread.

You can't ask for any of these and you have to earn them not beg them.
