@Lucas let me know on an answer to this because I am absolutely losing brain cells reading this drivel. Our program. No exclusive rights to him. No agreement to only sell to him. The program works perfectly. I don't know why this thread is even a thing. I wasn't even the original seller of this I partnered up with the dev AFTER this sale was done which was STILL a legit deal.

For your logic to apply here (that you can sell or leak, or gift, or break intentionally, whatever he bought from you) there has to be a specific non exclusivity clause. You should have told him, when he ordered the custom program from you, that you would be either reselling, keeping / reproducing or leaking the program after it was delivered to him. He doesn't need to ask for it to be exclusive because he already is ordering a custom program from you. As the seller you are the one liable to clarify what you will do (or not) with the program he paid you for. If you want to drop the project and you prefer to sell it or leak it for free, then you have to refund the customer. When he hires you to create a specific program, he owns it. Unless you tell him that you have the right to resell it, leak it, or do whatever you want with it. It's common sense that after selling a custom program to a buyer, you can't touch that program again. It's a one-off type of deal. UNLESS CLARIFIED AND AGREED. A buyer has no reason whatsoever to discuss exclusivity with you if you don't mention it. This is because it's assumed that when somebody pays you for a custom project, that project is for them, and not for you. He did not fund your development, he bought it. Your job as developer is to make his requests true. It does not include in any way to own the code, to replicate or release it free or for a fee, to anyone.

I will not be paying this absolute idiot or anyone 1k. I partnered AFTER with the dev that did this AFTER the sale was made and AFTER he had grievances. I have not did anything in this situation but partner with someone who made a deal with this idiot. If you want to ban me for literally doing nothing and someone taking out their grievances on me and not the dev so be it. Let me know the decision.
