Maybe change the color picker to something like this one:

This would give the users more options for individualy customizing their profiles.

If thats not an option, make the preview update instantly, without having to let go of the slider with the cursor.

I would also like this. Not having to let go of your mouse click would be great, but I also would like having 2 or 3 more variations of the art itself, or even custom ones where the user can upload something themselves (maybe with an approval moment in between?)
