Amount scammed: $25 + 90 DKK (? $12)
Proof of payment (IMPORTANT, PLEASE POST): I don't think the dropping and payment thereof is disputed. Here is a redacted version of the additional invoice: https://imgur.com/a/Si2rv6I . If the original is required I'll happily sent it to Lucas
Additional Information: The screenshots of conversation explains most of it. I'll give a cleaner description here, as the messaging is mostly bickering:
I ordered a FTIDv3 drop from Hydra with a PostNord label I paid for myself (the shop doesn't provide a shipping label for returns), which failed because the package got LIT rather than delivered. In addition, the package was over-stuffed (2.4 kg > 2.0 kg limit), so I later received an invoice from PostNord for the extra weight, which surprised me because the label puts a clear maximum on the allowed amount of weight.
At the start Hydra's dropper tried to fix it but nothing happened. Wait a week and they said they could try again or give me a refund but only for the amount I originally paid them (an offer they might have rescinded? I don't really know). In any case, my argument is that I'm also owed the invoice from PostNord since it's the direct result of the droppers negligence, making it clearly preventable damage directly caused by HydraBoxing. The shipping label, while regrettable, is obviously on me because I both knew this might happen and it's not unusual for indirect damages to not be covered.
Ultimately I feel that choosing a boxing service requires a vote of confidence, where I'm risking both my PII and (apparently) additional bills and that requires a simple vigilance. Not following/reading the clear weight-limit on the label is clearly negligence. Neither Pithos/Ftid.io seems to follow this procedure, though Hydra claims it to be expected.
