3 Simple Things I Would Add Are:

 

• For better security while purchasing and surfing the deep/dark web make sure you minimize your window in case of bad links (which you'll avoid if you use sites like the one in the next bullet)
• Use sites that keep up to date with current links and news sites like tor dot taxi
• If you own a mac/macbook you could just run bootcamp if you want or need to and still, follow the steps above.

New Macs with the M1 chip don't have the ability to run bootcamp. Best thing to do is to get a separate computer.
