Alright was considering learning this anyways. Is it the most comprehensive one?
This question is highly dependant of your goals.
If you would like to learn a variety of different languages and be a good 'programmer' then learning java as your first language is the best option. It's a really fun, in-depth language that will teach you all about programming and make learning other languages much easier to learn. Transitioning from java to other languages is quite easy and nice.
If you are unsure about programming, and you're new to computer science or whatever, then python is easier and simpler to grasp the simple concepts. Python is also really fun as you will quite quickly be able to make your own little programs and tools!
If you're invested long-term then I believe java is 100% the better language to start off with. Then when you learn java, learning python and other languages will be so much easier.
To note, this is my opinion. You can start off with any language and become a highly skilled programmer. There's no 'one way street'. But people recommend these languages as they're probably the most valued languages and learning both is a must as a programmer. Whichever you start with doesn't matter, so if you really prefer one over the other then just go for it.

As a first language Python is the obvious choice.
Following on from that, learning C or C++ will allow you to appreciate how machine language works at a lower level which is probably what you ultimately want.
Learning C/C++ off the bat isn't impossible but if you never coded before then Python is the perfect baby step.
