Yes, asking an international forum about their local job market is definitely the way to go to learn about your own job market.

Why not just check your local classifieds and other job sites, or find companies in your area that do web services and get an idea that way?

But if you insist, generally no, unless you are genuinely really good at front-end work.

It's not impossible to get a job in front-end, but consider that there are so many people from third-world countries doing web design for extremely low prices as freelancers on Upwork, Freelancer, Fiver, etc.

Consider the fact that you can unironically learn enough about web development to work as a freelancer in a matter of weeks (bootcamps, online courses, or just tutorial-hell.)

It's too easy to break into, and everyone is doing it.

The guys who are actually working for a decent salary (not a wage or per-contract, an actual salary) as front-end devs (either UI or UX) have a degree in soft-eng or comp-sci (or are actively working towards one.)

So yeah, you can make money doing it. But more often than not, you'll make a lot more just not doing front-end work.
