Thread of sales: was in previously banned server - agreed on $750 for UPS Admin account with 14 days full warranty

Amount scammed: $750

txid - at the time $750 in btc

 

 

Additional Information: Agreed on 14 day warranty, was given login to UPS account that wasn't usable for first day as was banned, was then given a replacement that was banned within 10hrs. We did this for a couple days (i complained but just accepted it was just shit service) before he told me no more accounts available and he would just do scans for me. 

We continue this until the 13th and 14th day of warranty where none of my trackings are being scanned - he accepts it's within warranty but tells me UPS RTS is patched and cant do anything, this is untrue as i checked with other service providers - he tells me scanned a day later after all have been forwarded to other providers losing me approx $300, i already asked for $250 refund due to this loss and his shit business/not fulfilling warranty but was refused as "You requested a partial refund at the last day of warranty" - is this not the whole point of a warranty?

 

I don't think he is a real scammer just a terrible person to work with who doesn't fulfil terms properly.

Just to be clear. If you bought the account with 14 days of warranty. And in the 14th day it stops working. You would receive a refund of 1/14th of what you initially paid. The warranty works as a sort of installment system where you divide the price you paid, by the number of days of warranty, and in the case of the account not working anymore or having issues, the remaining days would be refunded.

 

If you made an alternate agreement with him where you would accept scans made by him instead of a new account because he could no longer provide accounts, and he was unable to provide the scans, he would need to refund for those days too. 

The refund amount would be based on the number of days from the last day of scan you requested which he could not provide. 

When did you last request a scan, that he was unable to provide? What was the exact date?

@Erebus if he wasn't able to provide the scans on the last day he should refund you for 1 day out of 14. That's how warranty on this type of products works.

@Erebus if he wasn't able to provide the scans on the last day he should refund you for 1 day out of 14. That's how warranty on this type of products works. 

I offered him that, twice.

He wasn't interested so I don't know what to say.

Hey, sorry didn't get a chance to reply yesterday was busy.

Honestly i don't really care about the money, but i've always assumed warranties with accounts were FULL warranties - i wasn't paying for 14 days of service, i was promised a warranty on an ACCOUNT for 14 days

 

You said that's how warranties usually work but the way i was thinking about it was similar to buying a bank account or other account similar - if the account closes before 14 days you get a replacement or full refund, we were told on the final day it was patched while we knew full well it wasn't, and then effectively lost about $400 or more ($120 due to late scans DURING the warranty) and another $300 from the failure to provide anything on the final day, this was then done 3 days after sending when the scans were no longer needed.

 

I think the disagreement is just on how the warranty works, if it was for a service i'd only paid for 14 days of i would understand but i bought an account, and then that was not provided and i was instead given a service (which worked the same)
This service was then not provided in a timely manner during the warranty and then effectively not provided at all at the end, losing me money. If you (@Lucas ) disagree with this then just close the report i cba arguing over $50 i just find it insane how this is considered a reasonable or fair practise on Fonollosas side

 

I was also lead to believe during the buying process that the account would last which was a lie anyway as the account provided was banned for the first day of warranty - the service provided was not what i paid for, didnt work AT ALL for the first and last day of warranty, and was provided late multiple times throughout losing me a total of over $400 - if this is fair or just what i paid for please close the report thank you and sorry for the time i wasted.

Im sorry but this is exactly how it's always been done, if you buy a netflix account with 6 months warranty, and you use it for 5 months, you dont get refunded in full after that. If the seller can't replace again, he will give you a refund for the remaining month. You used the literal only example where, if account happened to die within warranty, it would lead to a refund that is not proportional to the remaining warranty. 

 

In every single other scenario, aside from a bank account, the refund is based on the remaining warranty. Not the price you paid. 

A warranty of 14 days and product dying in 13 days does not warranty a 30% refund, let alone a full refund. 

 

 

 

@Fonollosa he should be refunded for the remaining day of warranty. 

 

Check his main post and send the funds to his address
