Additional Information:

 

When I was interested in buying the website, Nick had a good sales pitch.. He made it seem like he would be the best Dev to hire out of all of the others that I could have hired because of his experience in the field and his ability to maintain it for multiple other shops like myself. This was far from the case. The shop that I got was a clone of every other shop that he's ever made. It is a very basic e-commerce website and I've compared the admin back-end panel with other shops like mine and it's exactly a one-to-one clone.

 

The customer experience was absolute dog shit. During the development I will say the customer experience was perfect. That was when I still owed him 4k. The website is barely being held together. I'm not going to state directly what's going on in this report as my website is still up and I don't feel like dealing with the repercussions of people finding out exactly what exploits are there. Mods I will happily DM whoever takes this report.

 

I'm not sure how, under any circumstances this would happen normally in website development but having your customers get an email of an order confirmation is kind of the standard. However, it somehow took over 2 months of my site being up for him to actually get the emails to send out properly.

 

And to this very day my support still has to go through and manually approve all of the crypto payments that are sent to my site. It's done through Coinbase it should be done automatically. However for some reason, not really sure why...but they are still not auto-completing.

The above is the agreed upon service I was paying for. The following are my issues. I have a lot more than this, but this is already getting long and I don't want to go into every little detail.
 

 

Designing of Landing Page & Storefront Layout:
Landing page & storefront to be designed entirely from scratch, after taking client
recommendations on their required color palettes/design patterns they are looking to
get (will guide if required).
There will be one draft presented upon confirmation of client on the
recommendations, if client requires, there will be a second draft presented. There will
be two sets of revisions provided for the landing page, first after the draft has been
created and one right after. Storefront will include main store page and checkout page.

 

 

I have no complains from a graphics perspective, however the landing page and storefront were not designed entirely from scratch and the timestamps in the code are proof.

 

 

- Designing of Admin Panel
1. Design of Admin Panel to be derived off a template chosen by client (few options
will be provided to client to choose from
2. Tailoring the template to client needs: change of colors and layouts as requested by
client along with the ability to switch between dark/light mode.
Development of Front-End (Landing Pages):
Development of all designed pages in responsive HTML/CSS Bootstrap, clean code
which is optimized. It is fully responsive to PCs and Mobile Screens.
Two sets of bug-fixing/revisions provided to client.

 

 

The admin panel you showed me four options. I picked one. Yet I got the same admin panel datatouch got albeit in different colors.

 

10.Secured development, use of ReCAPTCHA to prevent spams, 2-fac
authentication (using email) and all other security measures covered in
development and good security testing also done (OWASP Top 10).

This is laughable. I cannot comment here on why, I will explain the many vulnerabilities left wide open by nick in private.

First of all I would like to mention that if the website is working and live, what exactly do you mean 'barely holding up' and doing 14k$ in sales ? I do not think a site barely holding up can bring in that much sales. Obviously this is not as big of a development project as ATShop (over hundreds of thousands of dollars spent on creating such platforms). The entire platform which we delivered works perfectly fine, other than payment gateways which I mentioned why below.

We have over-delivered for what you paid us and provided as much support as possible in each step. Please read below for specific pointers. We will not be issuing any kind of refund, I asked multiple times to let us know what is missing for you, which you failed to mention. I am still available to complete any point you consider incomplete/not done.

Talking about the customer experience: there are time-zone differences which make up for the time delays, however we always have resolved each issue you brought up despite who's fault it was. (entire chat history available)

And the whole design was done from Scratch, along with the Logo. 3-4 Concepts were presented to you, out of which, one concept was to be selected, for which you mentioned you wanted to retain your cat identity, we vectorized that logo for your brand in the best possible quality and presented it to you. Along with that, we never said no to any revisions asked on the Web Design, be it the Colors (Which you didn't like - we redesign it and you liked it better) or the Layout etc. Moving forward, we even made sure the Website was fully responsive in all the devices, like mobile and desktop etc. We did an extra gif which was not included in the quote. Overall from design perspective the Website was designed from scratch, perfectly tailored to your needs.

Coming to the payments processing: Your cashapp and coinbase accounts got banned multiple times and each time I tried to fix it by helping you change domains. It is not our fault you get DDoS or people ban your domains/accounts.

 

Also when I asked what all is left, you said to check myself, which I did multiple reviews and fixed up whatever was not already there (the whole comment system was recoded)

I showed you one of the reasons why in dms around 4 days ago before I made this report. I cannot state the reason publicly because this is the worst possible place for me to tell the world of my site's web security difficulties.

I'm sorry but I wholeheartedly disagree. You're right you have, and it's been two months of coinbase not working. The only reason my total sales are up is because I have the best support I could have possibly asked for. He's been fulfilling all crypto payments manually.

Why do you think posting a picture of my income is an acceptable thing to do? If I had wanted to include that for the public to see I would have included it when I mentioned having a clone of datatouch's admin dash. (proof can be given upon request in private)

Yeah, the design was fantastic and I have no complaints. The design was the one element you had no parts of.

What are you saying man? This is an outright lie. *TODAY* my cashapp got closed. (Proof of getting a payment today at 3AM EST: https://i.imgur.com/weISiF9.jpeg ) which is no biggie. My coinbase however, is still functioning just fine. Infact at one point it was communicating just fine with the site! However 15 minutes later it was down again.

Client unresponsive again for more than 24 hours and blaming me for a '180' switch. Have fixed up all issues, as always on priority.

The issue with coinbase was fixed by the DDOS/DNS team, it was NOT an issue with the codebase.
