there is no particular way to find a private api, just use mobile or web. If they work fine there is no reason to dig deeper trying to find a "private" api. Most of the time when people use that phrase it's sole use is to attract customers as it just sounds good. I insure that 99% of "private" apis on the marketplace are the same api others use for the same target and are far from being private.

Try using different devices like smart tv's, ios, ipads and shit most of the times its similar to android  other than that the owner of the site can tell u which other apis his site uses LOL. if its private it not public simple as that and u can't get something that is private unless u have someone on inside..
