Hi guys! I only have a baby(6 weeks-until they are a year old and walk) in home kindergarten. In March, I had a new baby. She is in my care from 7.30 am to 615 PM. She was 8 weeks old and exclusively breastfed. Milk deliveries to mothers have slowed down significantly, and now we include formula milk. She was very fussy when she first started, but I just put it down to the fact that the baby is difficult with the bottle (mom never even gave her a bottle... I gave her the first one on her first day.) It's been 11 weeks since she's been here... and she cries all day when she's not sleeping. I made a couple of suggestions to mom (mom changes her diet, changes baby formula, burps it longer, gas drops, talks to her pediatrician), but mom is young and just laughs at me (very awkward.) Mom knows how extremely fussy she is, because it's all the time, every day. To be honest, I feel that the baby is in pain. She holds her breath for a few seconds and screams as if in pain. Usually out of nowhere (no noise in front of the hand) and 0-60. I'm honestly nearing the end of my rope. I have 3 other children in my care and they are also upset. I guess my question is this... Will this be something you will end up with? Or should I just proceed with caution? I don't want to feel like a" quitter " - it's just such a long day with a screamer. Please help!!

Take it as a challenge and will be rewarded when it is done, you don't need to always quite, this is not why we have been here, not to quite but to challenge extremes and prove we can do it.

That is not your kid and you should not be the only person that is responsible for the kid. If you don't like it there, just leave. That is always an option, I would never be able to be like her. My kids were everything for me and I always gave it my best for them. They always had the best organic food that made it possible for them to grow and develop properly. That is how a parent should take care of their kids. If you have a nanny that does not mean that you forget about the kids and do nothing with them.

I agree, be happy.
