Damn these Jesus things really suck ass. I mean if you believe in it it might help. For everyone else that doesn't here's a list of numbers that will actually care:

Help from theologically literate people is also an option, in extreme cases they can lead you and watch after your "transformation".

I suffered from depression for basically my whole life. I'm christian but I don't really believe in the concept of god. I used so many different antidepressants. I also tried higher dosages and/or snorting xanax and some shit just to feel nothing.

These antidepressants won't make you feel better, they make you feel numb - You're gonna feel nothing at all, no sadness, no happiness.

I mean if Jesus and/or Antidepressants really helps you that's completely fine. I'm happy that you found something to help you cope with your negative emotions.

But at least TRY calling someone if you're feeling down, or going to a psychiologist. I've never talked to anyone that said: "Yeah I went to that Psychiologist, it sucked, i feel worse now". Consider speaking openly about your problems with a trained professional!

Stay safe!

Christianity what we call it today is a mix of paganism and some bible elements wrongly interpreted. It has nothing to do with the Bible unfortunately.

I clearly mentioned that antidepressants (drugs) won't ever help you.

Absolutely, stay well

I think antidepressants might help you for a short period of time. Like you take some alprazolam or something to feel "better" but search for another method of coping while taking antidepressants. In my opinion antidepressants are a temporary fix you can use while searching for something better. DON'T take antidepressants for longer times tho, you'll get addicted to that and coming off of antidepressants makes everything worse.

Finding something that gives you a sense of fulfillment examples of that would be an exercise goal or a life goal of some sort.

This is hq and actually great advice but instead of reinforcing the idea of religion which is negative for us non-believers, replace it with something that everyone can follow.

yep i agree with you
