A month ago, I got accepted into intermediate vocational education, which is like college for programmers in the Netherlands. However, they are expecting us to learn front-end programming first at home. I've been learning HTML and CSS for a week, and, still, I wouldn't say I like it, because styling websites is boring to me. It's not that I'm not creative; it's just that I prefer learning back-end programming languages like C++ instead. How can I overcome this? Are there any alternative ways to learn HTML/CSS instead of styling websites? Or can it even be used for other stuff? I know that Javascript can, but HTML/CSS? .... fucking trash ass shit

Learning through practise is your best bet. Think of a project you'd like and create it.
