I attempted a refund using Amazon chat bot and was told to wait 3 days for a carrier investigation. I did a chatbot refund a couple months ago with several orders in between. Is this anything that I should be worried about? The item was $265 and the previous item was $252 and from my knowledge the limit is $300. Should I say I found the package or just wait out the investigation. I don't want anyone showing up to my door or anything of that sort.

Just wait out the investigation, I think they just say that to scare u a bit.
I have done multiple refund and often they said they starting a investigation and after a few days I get my refund.
For an item about 300-400 What method would you say works best? DNA or Empty box? it's sold by third party but fulfilled by amazon.
