I've been kinda wanting to get into mining/trading etc but what's the difference between Bitcoin, Ethereum, Doge etc etc.
What's the difference?

Different algos, different types of chains, different dev team goals.
Only thing you can do to get to learn more is search for info on how each of the coins you're interested in works.
A couple tips: First of all do not invest without knowing what you're doing, 1000% you'll lose money. Always put in what you can afford losing, or don't trade at all.
Regarding mining, you would need a good investment to get started (no you can't mine with a home pc anymore even if it's a i9/2080 ti rig). If you are planning to invest in mining equipment, make sure to make a really good investigation on what it'll cost you to get it, mine and maintain it. Look in the future, dont just buy something because it will give you a short term profit. Make sure to make your investment is long-term (taking into account all factors incl. electricity costs, coin prices and fluctiations etc).
