So as a prior Linux user; are python scripts any good for cracking snapchat accounts? I believe that Dictionary attacks and Bruteforce attacks are out of date. But how about Phishing Snapchat accounts specifically targeting dumb blondes who would fall for it but, what is the best method in order to obtain access of a victim's password? Asking for a friend

The best way is to get access to the email.

You reset the password on login.snapchat.com (1 captha per try)

It tells you if a snapchat account exists for this email.

 

Then you just have to log into snapchat, using a vpn is enough not to trigger the geo security.

Therefore, snapchat doesn't seem to work on emulators. You'd have to get a proper smartphone.
