Is there a reason why Italy has so many?

I'm italian and i live in Bergamo (near Milan) where the coronavirus is almost everywhere, we're in quarantine since 1 month now and the situation is drammatic. I think in Italy controls are depth and that's the reason why there are so many positive cases, in other countries such as Germany, France, Spain, UK most of them aren't shared by media yet or many people are unware to have it i think.
