hi, new to the forum so not sure if I'm posting in the right place.
Anyway being from leak forum I did a typical se with amazon by purchasing an iPad and replacing it with a like for like one which is faulty, however this time around they have sent me an email saying that they received the item but the iPad was destroyed and in very used condition and that the serial number did not match but I am not sure how they are saying this as A, the iPad screen was damaged internally somehow and had no external damage and as the screen did not work, I don't understand how they can check serial number as it does not be printed on the outside of the iPad. I was wondering If I am screwed or is there anyway around it. it says on the email that if they believe I have received this in error that I can email them and clarify my order activity to them but not sure if that can backfire from previous se's.
so any help would be appreciated thanks
