#35100806 I still have a DWC tag

Posted by KAZZASR on 30 August 2021 - 10:58 PM in Answered

around 2-3 months ago now, someone opened a scam report against me. (i didn't scam him though)

https://www.nulled.t...78-kazzasr-580/

it was quite complicated, but in the end @Lucas decided to close the report, but I had to have the DWC tag for 30 days. It's been a long time since that passed, yet I still have the tag.

Can any mods remove this for me?

thanks in advance

You can buy one for it's original price, then refund it or use a refunding service

last i checked, electronics refunds in UK were quite scarce :/

@Lucas

Sorry, but I can't get make this call for OP.

I rang just now and got in the queue, but OP has gone back and deleted most of the prior details.

Despite that, I still managed to get far with the agent, and she even said we can transfer the money as a cheque.

She asked where "I" live, but I was unable to get a hold of OP.

Busy schedules, timezones, whatever it may be, is causing quite some difficulty.

Ultimately, I'm afraid I cannot progress, especially with a fraction of the account information.

@ExcitedVandal

The good news is the money is not gone, but I kindly request you make this call yourself.

Surely, paypal would be the ones to help him. As I don't know what was discussed between them and you, I can't know why this is happening. I dont know the status of the recovery, if you were told to just wait, or if you were waiting for them to sort it out. It's possible you did sort it out and he took the chance on the 10th to make the withdrawal? As I simply don't see any evidence of anything here, he could have received the email with the recovery success, withdrawn the money and decided to report you here.

That is correct, PayPal would be the ones to help him. I just suggested contacting the bank in the meantime for OP, only for peace of mind and with a possibility of identifying the culprit.

@Lucas - My Skype call log can be seen at: https://imgur.com/a/UsRXrSz

As aforementioned, everything I'm saying can be confirmed by checking the timestamps of my messages in the discord chat, but it appears OP has conveniently omitted large portions of the conversation.

I will briefly run you through it.

The first 3 calls can be ignored; this was me trying to speak to an actual human.

Jun 09 15:22 (57:51)
- I finally get through to an agent.

- We locate OP's account, through means of his last 4 digits, and his email.

- I explain the problem to her.

- She sent password reset links, but these were coming late to OP's email. As the emails were only valid for 10 minutes, they were basically useless to us.

- The conversation will show proof of this.

- She said she'd put me through to someone, but the call ended.

Jun 09 19:28 (27:57)

- If I remember correctly, OP was requesting numerous times for me to ring back. I was reluctant, due to having guests over, but I attempted it nonetheless.

- I told the agent everything that happened previously.

- She suggested we answer security questions instead of emailing a password reset link.

- I relayed the questions to OP, he answered.

- This section of our Discord conversation is my best bet at winning the report IMO.

- The agent told me we had failed the security checks.

- She did, however, ask me to reset the password. I told her this is not possible since SMS verification is required.

- She then told me to wait 48 hours, and try to reset the password again.

- Call ended

Now, I've put the point above in bold, because, it would definitely correspond with what you said.

"It's possible you did sort it out and he took the chance on the 10th to make the withdrawal?"

Whether or not that is the case, I don't know.

June 09 Later That Night

- I speak with @Timo (sorry for roping you in)

- I want to buy his predictions service.

- I ask if he accepts PayPal.

- He tells me no, because it's limited.

- I mention myself ringing to try unlock OP's account (no details given)

- Timo replies saying he spent 2 years fighting for his account, to no avail.

- Naturally, this deters me.

June 09 Even Later That Night (technically 01:59 of June 10)
- the money is withdrawn from the PayPal.

June 10

- OP messages asking for an update. The account has been accessed by this point, unknown to me.

June 10-14

- OP unusually goes from messaging numerous times every day, to focusing on his university work, allegedly.

June 15

- OP asks what happened.

- I (stupidly) call it a day, and unfriend him.

June 18 10:01

- OP informs me of his intent to open a scam report.

- I do not get this message, as I'd unfriended him.

- OP didn't notify me by Nulled PM, though.

June 18 18:26

- 8 hours later, OP opens the report.

I am terribly sorry for the comprehensive read, but this is solely for your (and any other readers') information.

If I had that 580USD in my possession right now, I promise you I wouldn't be trying to salvage my Nova account with 8 rep, when I could so easily buy this account 10 times over.

@Lucas

Sure, I will aim to complete that call within 7 days (extremely busy right now)

@ExcitedVandal

Please provide me with:

 - PayPal email

 - Bank account name/number on file

 - Last 4 card digits on file

This is for me to get through to the agents on call.

I also searched up the bank that the withdrawal was made to.

It's based in Germany, and in fact, if I'm correct, are no longer taking customers. I don't know when this was put in motion, but I'm sure an online search should yield the answer. I really do hope that makes you start to believe I had no part in this.

Anyway, it seems their customer support is open. Maybe sending them an email explaining what happened, whilst referencing the '1447' from your PayPal email, would help identify the account involved.

Sorry to keep bumping, this isn’t substantial at all, but I actually never blocked you. Only unfriended.
if you truly did believe I stole nearly 600USD from you, surely you’d at least attempt to add me back?

Can you give more information on the unblocking of your account? regain access or contact paypal to cancel the withdrawal? I would like to understand why it took you 8 days to make this report if the withdrawal was requested on the 10th and why didn't you contact him earlier about the withdrawal when you saw the email about it?

Thanks, and a couple things.

1. I am not necessarily pointing the finger at OP; I'm just not sure who else would have access to what he shared with me.

2. I do have the Skype call logs. It tells me the date and time I called, the number, and the duration of the call. If you kindly ask OP for a complete transcript of the discord conversation, I'm sure you will see how my messages correspond with the call.

 - E.g. Say the call was from 19:28-19:55, you'll most certainly see messages between that time, where I relay to him whatever the support agent is telling me.

3. Again, a very long shot. This will probably make more sense to OP, though. We sent the password reset link to the number on the account (which we did not have access to) several times. It could be possible the person receiving these SMS messages took advantage? Truth be told, I still don't actually know if the account was a stealth, or whether it was cracked. If it does indeed belong to someone else, it's more than likely they took it back. Again, if OP kindly sends the chat transcript, you'll see its mostly assuming the account is stealth. I recall making a few remarks about it, but wasn't given a straight answer. It may very well be that Jacob Caster is the one who withdrew.

If none of these is the case, the account is stealth, the money is yours, and somebody genuinely withdrew without your knowledge, then I am truly sorry for your loss, but also for my inability to effectively conclude our business.

Actually, @Lucas

I told OP when I rang, after the security questions incident, that the agent told me to ring after 48 hours. I can clearly remember me telling him that. 48 hours later would mean the next time I call would be 11th June.

Then why did you block him? What's the point of leaving him hanging and blocking him? This doesn't look very good on you + the image of the withdrawal the very next day after you called and were working on it.

In all honesty, the reason for the hanging and blocking was the frustration for not telling me it was stealth, and the lack of answers to the security questions. It takes about an hour in the queue to ring them, which is why I didn't want to spend anymore time on it.

I didn't even know any withdrawals were requested until you sent me the screenshot.

Now I know how it looks, but I'm really not sure what's happened.

I'm really grasping at straws here, but maybe OP figured it out, had someone else figure it out, and then wants me banned.

From the screenshots, 15th June he requested an update (when blocked) but the withdrawal email came on the 10th.
