I highly doubt this. Samsung is known to blacklist phones after refunds.

No response in nearly a week.

@divinitty He should be given a compensation of a free refund for 50% of the value of this refund. You should make it clear to your customers that phones can get locked. The customer has no reason to ask this on their own as they are unaware of the possibilities. But you are not.

This compensation should cover any potential losses as the phones can be bypassed (by bypassing the blacklist) but will probably be sold for less than the normal resale price for them as they are going to get blacklisted as soon as they are on.

How long should I wait for him to reply?

Additional Information: Divinity stated that I should wait for the refund to be posted on my account before powering on the devices. I followed his directions and waited until the refund was fully processed before allowing the devices to be powered on. When one of the devices was powered on, the phone ended up getting locked a few days later. I told Divinity about this issue and he responded, saying that the responsibility of the phone being blacklisted lies with me because I “never asked beforehand” about any possible risks. However, as stated in the chat logs, I did inquire about when it was safe to power on the devices. As of right now, I’m not sure about whether the other phones will get locked when they’re powered on. I had 4x Samsung S23 Ultra refunded from him.
