#30878642 Python

Posted by noarch on 08 November 2020 - 05:53 AM in General Chat

Can you post a more details here of what you're trying to accomplish exactly? I can help if it's actually simple and not too time consuming

I can probably help if its actually simple

Thank you for response and interest. I have massive dumped db that are to large to use an advanced text editor to edit the text.  I assume the most efficient and quickest way is to write a script that says "look for X, REPLACE X with Y, Go to next line and repeat"

For example

My source file contains:

USER;PASS
USER;PASS

and my output file would contain:

USER:PASS
USER:PASS

Does anyone know python pretty well?  I'm trying to make a fairly simple script.
