I never agreed to 400 for backend
it was stated after project was completed
from day 0 i focused only on a complete UI change
existing site worked great and is still working great. The only backend changes were done for you not for me
Do you have screenshots or recordings of all the exact UI requirements you sent to the developers?
I am a full stack web engineer and I can understand both sides of the story here, what's a bit surprising to me is that the developers didn't notice your intention to have an amazing frontend despite it being so pronounced, in which case it might be the developers trying to muddy the waters and deliver a bad quality product for generally, a significant amount of money.
It all just depends on the proof you can provide that you indeed were precise enough and engaged enough to provide meaningful instructions for the developers regarding the UI.
